Fault Lines

In her award winning novel, Nancy Huston explores the past through four consecutive generations, taking the reader backwards in time from California to New York, Haifa to Munich, from 9/11 to Nazi Germany, through the terrible fault lines that scarred our recent history.

Canadian born Nancy Huston writes both in French and in English. Her novel The Mark of the Angel won the Grand Prix des Lectrices de Elle, the Canadian Jewish Fiction Book Award, the Torgi Award and was shortlisted for the Giller Prize. A bestseller in France, Fault Lines won the Prix Femina and is being translated into 18 langagues. Nancy Huston lives in Paris with her husband, the writer Tzvetan Todorov.

Jonathan Garfinkel is the author of Ambivalence.
