Journalism Workshop

The Just Journalism workshop will be facilitated by Director, Rafael Broch, and a number of other JJ staff. Participants will learn about the notion of accountability as it relates to journalism and introduced to the key sources that form the bedrock for journalistic standards in the UK. They will have the opportunity to apply their newfound knowledge to sample articles, uncovering journalistic breaches.

Rafael Broch is Director of Strategy at Just Journalism, a research organisation which promotes accurate and responsible reporting about Israel in the British media. Just Journalism’s aim is to heighten awareness of the need for responsible journalism and to stimulate debate about this issue. Rafael has worked in various research and media environments, from a leading commercial research agency, Opinion Leader, to VERTIC, a think tank dealing with arms control regimes. He also researches and writes on Middle East affairs.
