Philip Sington co-authored six thrillers with Gary Humphreys under the joint pseudonym of Patrick Lynch, translated in 12 languages. He is the author of Zoia’s Gold and the Einstein Girl.

Dr. Frank Tallis has held lecturing posts in clinical psychology and neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry and King's College, London. He has written self help manuals, non-fiction for the general reader, and seven award-winning novels. Deadly Communion is the fifth volume of the Liebermann Papers.

Barry Forshaw’s books include British Crime Writing: An Encyclopedia and The Rough Guide to Crime Fiction, along with books on italian cinema, film noir and the first UK biography of Stieg Larsson. He has written for The Independent, The Express, The Times, the Times Literary Supplement, Waterstone’s Books Quarterly, Good Book Guide and Movie Mail; he also edits Crime Time, and is one of the talking heads for the ITV Crime Thriller author profiles. He has been Vice Chair of the Crime Writers’ Association.
