Yehuda Halevi

Yehuda Halevi defined the Golden Age of Spanish Jewry and is considered Poet Laureate of the Jewish people. Like Maimonides, Halevi spanned multiple worlds. Poet, physician and philosopher, he is as well known today for the poetry that has become of the Jewish liturgy, as he is for The Kuzari, one of the most important works of Jewish philosophy ever published.
