Israel After the Arab Spring
Will the Arab Spring lead to peace between Israel and its neighbours, or does it mean perpetual war? Is what we've been seeing really an Arab Spring, or is it in fact an Islamic Awakening? Join Robin Lustig, who will be asking these questions to Jeffrey Goldberg, the man hailed as “the most influential journalist on matters relating to Israel” in a session which looks at what the Arab Spring means for Israel, for the Palestinians, and for the prospects for peace, all against the backdrop of confrontation between the West and Iran.
Jeffrey Goldberg is a national correspondent for The Atlantic and a recipient of the National Magazine Award for Reporting. Author of the book Prisoners: A Muslim and a Jew Across the Middle East Divide, Goldberg also writes the magazine's advice column.

Robin Lustig presents Newshour on BBCWorld Service Hour and The Wold Tonight on BBC Radio 4. He writes a
regular blog.
