Meet the Author: Tom Rachman: The Imperfectionists

Tom Rachman discusses his first novel, The Imperfectionists, about the quirky, maddening and endearing people who write and read an international newspaper based in Rome. Gripping, funny and moving, this is a novel about the hectic but now threatened life of the press as we knew it.

Tom Rachman is an English/Canadian writer/correspondent. He has worked for The Associated Press in New York and the International Herald Tribune in Paris; and reported from many foreign lands such as India, Sri Lanka, Japan, South Korea and Egypt. His debut novel The Imperfectionists is widely translated and he is working on his second.
