Anthony Horowitz has carved out a name as one of the most popular novelists
for young people in the UK, in particular with his creation of a teenage
James Bond-like character called Alex Rider. In this session for 9 year
olds and upwards, he revealed the secrets and the real-life sources of his
most popular characters.
Anthony Horowitz is a novelist and a prolific writer for television, film
and theatre. He created the series Foyle's War and Midsomer Murders
for television and has worked on Agatha Christie's Poirot, Crime Traveller
and Murder Most Horrid. He is the author of the hugely popular teenage
novels Stormbreaker and Point Blanc and has written a forthcoming full-scale
musical based on the work of Dr Seuss.
