If you love books and reading then you will be seriously missing out if
you don't come along to Jewish Book Week 2006. Whether you have been
before or not, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Every year Jewish Book Week runs a day of children's book events. In
2003 Anthony Horowitz talked to a packed audience of young people.

In 2004 we made the programme bigger and had two fantastic events. The
Bible Story House team led an action packed session called Abraham and
his Three Visitors, which included singing, drawing and lots of games.

Simon, the fabulous creator of the Horrid Henry series talked about her
monstrously enjoyable creation, Horrid Henry, the hateful boy everyone
loves, to a captivated audience of young people, click here to check

The children's programme for Jewish Book Week 2006 was our biggest so
far. We had some fantastic events for all ages. We hosted the book
launch for Inside Anne Frank's House a new book filled with pictures,
illustrations and excerpts from Anne's diary . Michael Rosen
entertained us with stories, rhymes, songs and even an introduction to
Yiddish. Mekella Broomberg swept us away on a magic-filled storytelling
journey through ancient Jewish folklore. And Sherry Ashworth and Graham
Marks, two acclaimed authors for teens revealed secrets behind their
writing techniques. Click here for more details on those sessions.
Jewish Book Week 2006 will run for both children and grown ups from
Saturday 25th February to March to Sunday 5th March at the Royal
National Hotel, Bedford Way, London WC1.. We'll keep you updated with the programme as soon as it's confirmed.
