From this page you can check out the winning entries of the 2005 Children’s Poetry Prize where we asked you to send your poems on the theme of ‘Nature’.
There will be another competition for 2007, the theme is 'Colours'.

The winning poets were introduced by the wonderful Francesca Simon at JBW 2006 where they read out their poems. Afterwards they were treated to tea with Lady Elaine Sacks.

This site has two sections; one for 8-11 year olds, the other for 11-14 year olds. They have interviews with authors, tips on illustrating and loads of sneaky peaks at new books, and older ones too.
