Schools Day at Jewish Book Week
TUESDAY 26th FEBRUARY 2008
ROYAL NATIONAL HOTEL
BEDFORD WAY
LONDON WC1 0DG
After our successful School’s Day last year we are again inviting Year 6 classes from local schools to sample some of the best bits of the festival.
The day is titled ‘Storytelling History’ and features award-winning international writers who will take you back in time to different periods in history, bringing them to life with stories. The day features storyteller Howard Schwartz, Daniel Hahn and Leonie Flynn, editors of The Ultimate Book Guide and creator of the Roman Mysteries series Caroline Lawrence.
Come for the day, or for individual sessions (the festival is located within walking distance of the British Museum, and British Library, which can be combined for a full day’s outing) Classes will also be able to look round the bookfair, offering the UK’s largest selection of Jewish books and magazines from across the world and authors will be signing copies of their books on the day also.

The day is free but places are limited so classes will be included on first come first served basis.
